DES Reminder

Last night was a wonderful evening for DES! We had the pleasure of hosting the School Committee during their "Roadshow," where we showcased the outstanding work that our teachers and staff accomplish daily through our Spotlight Presentation. Additionally, we shared our School Improvement Plan for 2025-2027 and provided an update on the new Elementary Report Cards.
We are also proud to celebrate that one of our students received an award for her exceptional ACCESS score, highlighting her hard work and achievement. In addition, Mr. Badger was recognized with an award for his dedication and contributions.
A heartfelt thank you to all the staff and students who presented, as well as to the parents and caregivers who attended and supported the event.

Thank you to everyone—staff, students, and parents—who attended the DES Showcase tonight. We’re thrilled that so many of you could join us and celebrate your students’ incredible work. #WeAreDR #DT2030 #EIS

Today, the DRRHS Class of 2025 went on the annual Grad Walk through their respective feeder schools. This important tradition reinforces our PK-12+ commitment as a #WeAreDR community and demonstrates to all future Falcons the goal of graduating as a future-ready member of this community. The symbolism ignites warm memories for the PK-8 staff who empowered our seniors and shaped their lives. #DT2030 #EIS

Students at DES have successfully completed the registration challenge for Booster and earned their Pajama and Stuffed Animal Day! We are excited to celebrate with a school-wide Pajama and Stuffed Animal Day on Thursday, June 5th.

Students and families, we have a new nightly challenge! The class with the most new donations will get to participate in a Castle Quest! Go to MYBOOSTER.COM tonight to register and help our school!

This week, Mrs. Maurer's and Mrs. Reed's classes enjoyed a walking field trip to Dighton Middle School. At DMS, they collaborated with Mr. Kucia and some members of his hydroponics club, where they had the chance to plant and propagate seeds for lettuce, acorn, chololius, and avocado. A huge thank you to DMS for providing this incredible opportunity; our students had a fantastic time! #EIS #DT2030
